ABOUT

William "Billy" Baker...

I began playing drums in church at age 9 with my dad Eugene Baker who was an accomplished keyboard player and studio engineer. I went on to perform with the jazz big band, student ensambles and recitals in college. As I progressed I gained valuable experience performing and recording regionally with many talented musicians and bands doing various styles. Eventually having the good fortune to tour and record nationally with several renowned musicians.

I've been blessed to play drums and develope great friendships in all kinds of amazing musical & fun situations...

I've enjoyed all my experiences as a drummer. I believe a strong foundation in the fundamentals builds a great musician! Ultimately my passion is creating and performing great music and inspiring students.

When you take lessons from me I teach you what you like to learn so you will progress and most importantly, have fun...😁
